With shows such as Breaking Bad and just added Better Call Saul AMC has no plans of slowing down on producing hit television shows because they have just announced their newest television series Turn. The show is based on the book “Washington’s Spies: The Story of America’s First Spy Ring” by Alexander Rose. Turn is Set in the summer of 1778 where a New York farmer and his childhood friends form an unlikely group of spies, called the The Culper Ring. The casting directors for AMC’s spy thriller are now looking for numerous extra roles for scenes that will be filmed in Richmond VA, this might be your “turn” to be apart of a hit television show so do not miss out submit your information now.
Based on Alexander Rose’s non-fiction book Washington’s Spies, Turn will follow a small group of farmers living in British-occupied Long Island who become very good spies and provide information to George Washington. The new AMC television series is set to premier April 6, and will star Jamie Bell as one of Washington’s real-life spies, Abraham Woodhull. The show will run for 10 episodes and will chronicle eight years of war.
