Nickelodeon has just announced the pick up of a new superhero series named The Thundermans.  The half-hour series created by Jed Spingarn (“Big Time Rush”) revolves around a suburban family with superpowers and 14-year-old twins, one of which has a sunny disposition while the other is a super villain. The Thundermans becomes the latest series order to come from Nick’s ambitious 2013 slate. The show has been picked up for 13 episodes and the casting directors are now looking for everyday extras and stand in roles. They are now taking applications for actors of all ages that are interested in being a part of the hit comedy. Do not miss out your chance to be on the Nick set and apply now.

The comedy show is about The Thundermans, a typical suburban family that happens to have astounding superpowers.  At the center of the action are the 14-year-old Thunderman twins (Griffo, Kira Kosarin), who share the same bathroom, the same school, and the same annoying little siblings.  Their only difference?  The sister is a super student with a super sunny disposition who super looks forward to being a superhero someday, and her twin brother is a super villain. The Thundermans will join two other new pilots that Nickelodeon has planned for their summer line up.

The show’s casting directors are auditioning actors for the series regulars, guest stars, possible recurring, and under-5 roles. Shooting will begin in mid-February and this is your opportunity to apply.     Nickelodeon has played a very important part in my life growing up. It has inspired me to do acting in the first place. As acting and singing raises my energy and confidence naturally.

      • Hi! I would LOVE you to have me on The Thundermans! I get A’s in social studies. I’m only 10 but i look 14! I just was in The Little Mermaid, but i got the role as Max, the dog. It was for 3 weeks and 5 hours each day from 9 to 1. I got a award for being most artsy when we painted the scenery for the play. I am nearsighted, i need glasses to watch movies, tv (sometimes)school (when i look at what the teacher writes).
