About ‘Mindhunters’

This casting call is for a new Netflix series, ‘Mindhunters’ is taking place in the city of Los Angeles, California. The casting directors are on the lookout for actors to play extras. The extras would be required to play the role of a basketball coach and string quartet for its various scene shoots. There is also a need for models.

Executive produced by David Fincher, (‘Gone Girl’ and ‘House of Cards’) and Charlize Theron, the producer of Mad Max: Fury Road. This series is based on a 1996 novel, Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit– which captivated readers.

The story revolves around two FBI agents who were the pioneers of behavior profiling which is used as a tool to assist investigators in predicting and profiling the characteristics of the criminals.

About the Roles for ‘Mindhunters’

Following are the roles and their specifications needed for the Netflix series ‘Mindhunters’:

  1. For the role of Basket Ball Coach

  • The role of basket ball coach would require a male actor
  • The age of the applicant has to be between 27 and 40 years
  • Union or non-union, no issues
  • The audition would be conducted on April 03rd 2016 – Sunday

  • For the photo shoot, African American mom and 2 kids are required
  • The auditions would take place on April 02nd 2016 (Saturday)
  • You just need to have kids ages 5-9 and 9-12, or if you qualify for the character of a mom are more than welcome to apply
  • The family has to be energetic and athletic
  • The shoot would take place at Canoga Park

  1. For the String Quartet

  • For the string quartet in the background, the requirement is for the cast to be of 18 years of age
  • The union or non union string quartet would turn into ‘zombie’ like creatures
  • Special makeup and contacts would be applied to the characters
  • The dates for shooting would be March 30th 2016 (Wednesday), March 31st 2016 (Thursday), April 06th 2016 (Wednesday), April 07th 2016 (Thursday) and April 08th 2016 (Friday).
  • The string quartet would be required to play, so make sure you’re able to play as well
  • The audition venue would be Canoga Park
