Seeking Child Actors for Denzel Washington’s “Fences”

This is a casting call for roles in ‘Fences’, the new movie starring Denzel Washington. The casting directors of “Fences” are looking for high school marching bands and little league teams in Pittsburgh. They are needed to work on a scene in the new film. The filming for these roles is scheduled to take place on 14^th June in Pennsylvania.

About the Show

“Fences” is a movie that revolves around the story of a former African American baseball player. He struggled to support his family working as a trash collector in Pittsburgh in 1950. He was denied to join the Major Leagues because of the fact that he was an African American. This is a remake and the original movie was made in 1987 and starred James Earl Jones in the leading role. In this film adaption by HBO, Denzel Washington is set to star along with Viola Davis. The filming for the film is underway with some of the finest cast and crew working on the project.

The casting directors are looking to fill in the positions of some of the available roles. The filming for these roles is to take place in Pennsylvania on the 14^th of June this year. Thus, if you are applying, make sure you are completely available on the mentioned date. The roles are as follows:

Baseball: 2-3 youth league team members. The members should be of mixed ethnicity and will be required to film a scene for the movie
High School Marching Band: The casting directors need a high school marching band with members from mixed ethnicities
