Whats your favorite scary movie? MTV officially announced that they are moving forward with a pilot based on Scream. The Scream pilot will be a one-hour adaptation of the horror-movie franchise, which currently has four films. MTV and Dimension Films are currently in discussions with various writers for the project, and is in negotiations with horror legend Wes Craven, who directed the film series, to direct the adaptation. DiGa Vision will produce the project, which is being eyed for a summer 2014 premiere on the network and this is your chance to audition for several roles for the hit MTV pilot. A teenage girl and her boyfriend are brutally slaughtered by a mysterious killer in a Halloween costume. Sydney’s boyfriend, Billy becomes the prime suspect. When he is released, Sydney and all of her friends go to a party, at their friend Randy’s house, where they drink and watch scary movies. They are guarded from the killer by Gail, and a police officer named Dewey. All of the teens who aren’t drunk go off to see the body of their principal, who was killed by the same murderer, leaving only 5 people at the party. After a sexual encounter with Billy, Billy is stabbed by the killer. Sydney finds Dewey with a knife in his back, and Gail gets lost in the forest. Billy turns up alive, but Sydney realises that there are two murderers. Her best friend’s boyfriend, Stuart, and Billy are the killers. Billy shoots Randy Billy kills Stuart, and Gail comes in with a gun, and kills Billy. Randy turns up alive. Dewey turns out to be alive, and the only teens alive are Sydney and Randy.

When I first saw commercials for this show on television, I could not wait to watch it-I live passionately for anything related to horror, thriller, and suspense. I have seen almost every horror movie imaginable-from the classics such as Halloween and Friday the 13th-to lesser known B movies such as the Wrong Turn series-to gory forget-me-not films such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre-to foreign flicks such as High Tension and Martyrs. When this show first premiered, I absolutely loved it from the start-the actors are wonderful, the plot line is intense, the ending left off at a cliffhanger with many die-hard fans such as myself eagerly awaiting the next season! I very much enjoy that this series contrasts to that of the Scream movies-it makes for its own amazing storyline leaving people guessing, “Whodunnit?” Furthermore, in regards to auditions, I think I would be a great addition to the Season 2 cast-I am confident, friendly, and an extensive knowledge of horror productions and how they operate.
I’ve always loved the scream movies. I had to buy the collect and I watch them all the time. I love how each of them ended and how they were all put together and had u jumping from ur seat. Ud never guess who the killer was! It was shocking in each movie. I remember I went to the drive in and saw the very first one. I had the crap scared outof me. I love all horror movies. That’s about all I watch and go to the theaters to see. My bf gets mad cause I never wana watch anything else. I love the excitement, I love jumping outof my seat and being scared, it’s the best parts of all horror movies. I wish scream wouldn’t have ended. I think it would be amazing to remake Scream and update some of the scenes that take place making it more believable than the original version which is more comical than it is scary. When you think of 90s movies Scream has to come to mind. It’s top-notch, sly, cunning and well thought out. It’s chillingly deceptive. If done right the series could be a serious hit and I would love to be a part of the journey.

Family wise; As young children, my cousins and would write out story plots for little skits and then We would perform them for our family. I have played one of the main character in a play my drama class wrote, as well as Helena in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It was the oddest, yet most exhilarating experience of my life to be able to yell, scream and cry in front of my entire school. I was also kicked by Demetrius, but that was also one of the best parts.

I wish over a simple message I could convey how badly and passionately I want to be a part of this series. I remember the first time I watched Scream when I was 7 or 8 years old at my friend Ashley’s. I didn’t tell me my mom, but I was floored. I had never been so terrified nor so excited. It launched my love for horror films and later, in particular, the Scream series. I also had another love growing up and that was acting. So I’m sure you can see that all my life it has been a dream to be in a horror but Scream is the Holy Grail for me. I’m a great actor, I promise. I hope to prove it to you. I was in a film last Summer (my first SAG feature) with Andy Garcia and Vera Farmiga called Middleton. I studing acting in undergraduate and graduate school and have been paid for acting on every job for two years now so I think that is a testament in itself. Please, Please Please give me the opportunity to audition and be a part of the Scream series. Even if you just want me to quote every line of the movies…I WILL DO SO!!! Warmly, Nich Witham

My name is Nick and I am a passionate PASSIONATE fan of the Scream franchise. I remember taking every single one of my friends to see Scream 4 when it came out in theatres. I saw it 5 times when it was released. And since then I think I’ve seen the Scream movies collectively well over 40 times.
I’m a new actor to the Los Angeles area and within a month of being here have found some memorable work. I’m currently in San Pedro Rep’s production of Hamlet and am continuing to audition for more film and television work.
