Open Calls for Tryouts for ABC’s Shark Tank

Do you have what it takes to pitch your idea in Shark Tank? Well, then as an entrepreneur, this is the perfect opportunity for you to attract funding for your great idea. If you have a product that you are dying to pitch then ready your one minute pitch-speech as the casting of Shark Tank is in the process. This one of a kind show is holding auditions all across the country in various locations.

About Shark Tank

This is an ABC production. The show provides the participants an opportunity to make their lifelong business ambitions a reality. The show is especially looking for inventors and innovators and all those people who have remarkable ideas and incredible business skills. Shark Tank only chooses the few of the very best candidates and provides them the chance to pitch their ideas in front of “sharks”, that is, the people who have the funds to make your dreams turn into a reality. However, the “sharks” are not an easy crowd to sell your idea. The idea has to be well-crafted and absolutely dazzling to grapple their attention so that they are ready to bite your idea. So are you willing to participate in this daring competition? Read on further to for the details.

Important Details

Please read the following details carefully:

  1. Arrive to the below mentioned venues early as only the top of the first 500 applicants will be seen definitively. Guarantee for the latecomers is not provided. In order to secure the “numbered wrist band” arrive to the spot early. You will have to manage the parking on your own and the security might check your bags. You will also have to complete an Application Package beforehand. The downloadable application package is provided here. Fill the form before coming to the open call. Bring the Application Package with you to the open call.

  2. It is advisable to not to fill the form at the time of the open for there are a lot of details that will not be accessible to you at the spur of the moment.

  3. The auditions are open to the general public and as long as you arrive within the timeframe in which the numbered wristbands are distributed, you will have the opportunity to pitch your idea.

Rayleigh, North Carolina – 13th May, Friday

Location: Marbles Kids Mueseum on 201 East Hargett Street, Rayleigh, North Carolina 27601

Timings: 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM (the time duration of the distribution of wristbands)

Interview: 10:00 AM

Las Vegas, Nevada– 19th May, Thursday

Location: Growco Conference at Red Rocket Resort in Charleston Ballroom, 11011 West Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89135

Timings: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM (the time duration of the distribution of wristbands)

Interview: 9:00 AM

Honolulu, Hawaii – 6th June, Monday

Location: Ala Moana Hotel at Hibiscus Ballroom, 401 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, Hawaii 96914

Timings: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM (the time duration of the distribution of wristbands)

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – 10th June, Friday

Important Notes

  • You will be given sufficient time to rush back to your cars to get props and bulky equipment after having received your wristbands.
  • There is absolutely no guarantee that any power outlets, internet connection or A/V equipment will be provided.
  • The applicants are only allowed to pitch a single idea or a product.
