New Show ‘Chicago Med’ Extras Needed

The latest addition to NBC’s list of “Chicago Fire” TV shows, “Chicago Med” is finally in production and casting!

This show’s casting directors have recently released new casting notices for all the upcoming scenes that will be shot this month in Chicago. This show requires a lot of background extras so there has been a call out for general extras who will be willing to work on multiple days from November 25^th through the middle of December. There are numerous roles for candidates that have acting experience. Please check the casting notices that have been listed for further details.

About the Show

‘Chicago Med’ was created by Matt Olmstead and Dick Wolf, and it is a spin-off of NBC’s popular ‘Chicago Fire’ series. ‘Chicago Med’ has been described as an emotional ride through the chaotic day-to-day life of a Chicago emergency room. The series is the second spin-off created by Dick Wolf from ‘Chicago Fire’ after the success of ‘Chicago P.D.’. The latest show will also include crossover episodes that will tie all the shows together.

The cast of ‘Chicago Med’ includes the likes of stars Colin Donnell, Oliver Platt, Brian Tee, Torrey DeVitto, Yaya DaCosta, Rachel DiPillo, Nick Gehlfuss and S. Epatha Merkerson.

Extras Wanted for Multi-Day Booking

We are currently searching for men and women for the next episode of ‘Chicago Med’ from any ethnicity, between the ages of 20 to 70, and who can start working from Wednesday, 11/25 11/30, 12/1, 12/2,12/3, 12/4, 12/7, and ending on 12/8.

If you are interested in working on ‘Chicago Med’ as an extra, send in a recent color photograph, along with your height, weight, age, phone number, city, and state to chimedextra@gmail.com and list the dates of your availability. Knitting lady

We are looking for a woman who can knit as one of our patients. You must be available to work on multiple days starting from this Wednesday and continuing till the Monday after Thanksgiving. If you’re interested, put ‘Knitting’ in the subject line and send us your details at chimedextra@gmail.com.

Elderly men/seniors

We require an elderly man of any ethnicity between the ages of 60 to 80. He will be required to cry in a scene at our hospital on Tuesday, December 1^st. If you are available to work on that day and can pull off a crying scene, then put ‘Weeping 12.1” in the subject line and send us your details at chimedextra@gmail.com.

Talent with acting experience

We require men and women between the ages of 20 to 60 with acting experience. They must be medium to slim weight and wear a costume in a scene for ‘Chicago Med’ on Wed. Nov 25th, Tues. Dec. 1st, Wed. Tall ladies
