NBC Series The Mysteries of Laura Casting Call for Military Types
The NBC hit show stars Emmy Award winner Debra Messing and is currently filming the remainder of its season in New York. Messing stars as messy and chaotic Laura Diamond, a homicide detective who trusts her gut instincts to solve mysterious crimes. She is also a newly single mother of completely rambunctious twin boys. She must not only deal with her newly found single status, murder mysteries, little boys but she must also make room for her demanding Captain at the precinct who also happens to be her ex-husband. Diamond plays a very fragile balancing game between her demanding career, motherhood and dating life.
The casting team with Grant Wilfley Casting in New York City is seeking male extras to portray Marines and Sailors in an upcoming shoot for The Mysteries of Laura. The team is seeking men with military regulation haircuts (Buzz haircut, very short hair or bald head).

STILL SEEKING MEN TO PORTRAY SAILORS AND MARINES for the NBC show starring Debra Messing, THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA. Looking for men who have the navy regulation haircut, buzzed heads, very short hair or are bald. This will be exterior, shooting on the Intrepid in Manhattan. Production will be taking measures to make sure everyone is warm. If available TOMORROW (Tuesday 2/24) and have full day availability, please email a current picture (must be able to see your current haircut) to mysteries@gwcnyc.com with the following information: YOUR NAME, PHONE#, SAG-AFTRA or NON UNION and avail 2/24, Please also include your uniform sizes: Jacket, neck x sleeve, waist x inseam and hat. Must own black lace up shoes. Subject line of your email should say “FACEBOOK SAILORS”. Non union rate is $96.25/10hrs.
