The mega-network is pushing ‘Lost’ creator J.J. Abrams and ‘Supernatural’ genius Eric Kripke to put together a new television series. The new thriller and adventure drama show will have the network back on top in the ratings of television networks. As of yet, the series is still a pilot and with the double trouble writers and creators it is already planned to be a hit for its initial season. Details on who the A-List actors that will be in the series is being kept secret until its premier. Or they’re trying to at least. Abrams is certain to keep the series as suspenseful as possible.
J.J. Abrams is definitely a director to get involved with in the industry nowadays. With his 2012 work on ‘Fringe’ and ‘Alcatraz’ on Fox and ‘Person of Interest’ over at CBS he is definitely a person of interest in the television industry. Kripke is also a great creator with his work on ‘Supernatural’. NBC is definitely in a hunger for a hit like this and if they get some great actors on board, this would be a great way for the network to blow up again.
With NBC and their primetime, daytime and late night television shows the network will include this great weeknight series on top of their popular soap operas and shows. In addition the casting directors at Bad Robot production studio, which is Abrams’, are in a dire need of actors, stand-ins, and extras. “Revolution” is casting major roles for its first season and casting calls are being held all over.
