The American TV series ‘Nashville’, being aired on ABC, requires actors for featured roles in an upcoming episode being shot on the 29th of March 2016. The episode includes a red carpet scene for which actors to play roles such as publicists, media people, reporters, security personnel and various others are required. The casting agency handling this is called “On Location Casting”.

About the Show

‘Nashville’ is an American TV musical drama series that airs on ABC.   The story revolves around Rayna Jaymes who has been in the industry of country music for over two decades and has been on top of her game. She now finds herself in pressure, due to changed times and trends, to adapt her style to stay relevant in the industry. Her competition is another woman named Juliette Barnes. She is a modern, young, and sassy singer, and she is looking forward to scoring a place at the top replacing Jaymes. It is a story of hard hitting competition, conflicts, generation gaps and fighting to stay relevant.

Specification of Requirements

The following featured roles, for red carpet event scenes, are being casted for;

Security staff: Males only, age between 22 and 45. You need to have your own dress of black color suitable to be worn by security personnel. You need to have an imposing demeanor and a neat and polished look.

Publicist: Male and female, between 26 to 35 years of age. Must be well-presented and have an upscale and high end appearance fit to be deemed as a publicist for a posh event.

Reporters: Male and female between the ages of 25 to 45. You need to have a professional, polished, distinguished and upscale appearance. Having the appropriate business clothing is essential.

Photographers: 23 to 50 years of age, male and female. As a pre-requisite you need to be aware of the camera equipment and the basics of photography to make the role as real as possible. Professional and clean-cut appearance is a must.

Camera Operators: Males of age 22 to 50 years. You should be familiar with the handling of video cameras. Must look somewhat similar to how a camera crew looks like.

Limousine Driver: Male actors of 30 to 60 years of age. Since this is the role of a luxury car driver, your neatness, professionalism, classy appearance and upscale demeanor is a must. You need to have your own clothing fit for the role.

Bartenders: Males and females between 21-35 years of age. You should be attractive and properly dressed as well. Having previous bar tending experience is necessary to give real element to the role.

Fans: Males and females between 18 and 60 years of age. Should be enthusiastic and energetic and have such clothing that fits for fans who visit high end red carpet events; decent looking and sophisticated.

Time and Payment Details

You must be available on Tuesday 29th march all day since the shooting can sometimes go well above 12 hours. Please do not submit an application if you already have a commitment, however small it may be, for the said date since flexibility of working late in the night hours is required and there is no definite wrap time.

The pay rate is set at 64$ for a shift of 8 hours after which you will be paid over time, which is a surety. The payment will be made after 12 to 14 working days after your work is done.
