An ancient war is about to be reignited as a young farmhand accidentally opens a gateway between the world of fearsome giants and our own. For the first time in centuries the vicious giants will return to Earth to try and reclaim the land they once lost, forcing Jack to step up and engage in the battle of his life to try to save Earth and the beautiful princess taken hostage by the Giants.
The cast for the film includes Nicholas Hoult as jack, the young farm boy who leads the conquest to rescue the princess, Eleanor Tomlinson. Other actors will include Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, John Kassir, Ewan McGregor and Eddie Marsan.Warner Bros. Pictures will be producing the film along with Bryan Singer who will be directing the film. Bryan Singer has directed such films as The Usual Suspects, X-Men, X2 and Valkyrie.
Most filming is taking place in the British countryside such as Puzzlewood in the Forest of Dan, a forest with unusual tree and rock formation that has even been said to have inspired J. R. R. Tolkien to write The Hobbit.
The film is currently ongoing the search for extras and photo doubles for the film during its production.
