The movie “Battleship” is finally here and looking for film extras. The infamous board game is coming to the big screen as a Science Fiction Naval War Film! Directed by Peter Berg, Feature Film “Battleship” is set to release in mid 2012. The movie will star Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna. Filming will be taking place in the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Oahu as well as being filmed in Sherman Oaks, California. Filming will also take place in Louisiana briefly.
The film synopsis is the naval fleet of Pearl Harbor stumble upon a alien race known as “The Regents, who have come to Earth on a mission to build a power source in the ocean. The film will show both sides of the story so the audience knows exactly where the opponents ships are.
Production was planned to take place in Australia’s Gold coast but changed location do to a lack of Australian government tax incentives. Currently the film is seeking people to portray navy men and women and also to be pedestrian extras. Talent who are interested in being a part of production have to submit an application with information, or a resume and head shot to the casting department near you. Not all talent will be called immediately as it depends on audition time and openings for characters. Need as many extras as possible therefore talent do have to keep an open and available schedule. Talent ages 4 and up should only apply. All talent submitting themselves should have reliable transportation. Good luck to everyone!

Since filming will be taking place on O’ahu, I would be available on weekends/breaks and after school. I would like to be an extra and play a teenage pedestrian.
