You’ve seen then in grade school, your dad has a pair he wore to the office today, and your crush at the local store may have a pair on him right now, Dockers! A brand that has specialized in khaki garments and other accessories from Levi Strauss & Co. has been around ever since any of us can remember. When Levi got comfortable producing the best denim, they decided to also specialize in a new form of garment in 1986 when they came out with Dockers. Since then Dockers has been leading the way in producing business casual clothing for men. The women’s line was also later introduced, and Dockers became international in the early 90s when their leader Joe Middleton took charge of the brand.
Now Dockers can be seen in advertisements and ads selling belts, pants, leather wallets, shoes and other apparel. Their 2012 advertising campaign was the most popular when they launched a very aggressive attack on apparel with their cross-channel advertisement tagline “Wear the Pants”. During the 2010 Super Bowl Dockers showed viewers and potential customers their new merchandise by featuring Poxy Boggards in their “I Wear No Pants” Commercial. Their tagline hit home for the new generation of men by instilling a sense of masculinity for men. Their marketing idea was genius. Dockers has been very concerned and focused in their new advertising campaign and has headlined a search for talent to feature in their commercials and print advertisements.
Casting directors and executives are looking for male models that would fit their new advertising route. Preppy businessmen, dads, and younger entrepreneurs are their new focus. Men over the age of 21 who would be interested in being the next Dockers Print Ad model should definitely attend the casting call. Test shoots are being done immediately so all models that are interested need to submit an application and photo soon. “Wear the Pants” and go out there and get your next big break with Dockers!
