Téa Leoni stars in the CBS hit series Madam Secretary which centers around former CIA analyst turned College professor, Elizabeth McCord and her family. Having left her job with the CIA for ethical reasons she returns to public life at the request of the President when he appoints her as his new Secretary of State, after the suspicious death of her predecessor. The president seems to value Elizabeth’s extensive knowledge on the Middle East, vast language skills, her apolitical leanings, and creative thinking. Elizabeth quickly learns that navigating the international political landmines will take all the skills she learned as an analyst and some very creative improvising.

But Elizabeth not only has to drive international diplomacy, battles office politics and circumvents protocol while negotiating both national and international issues but she must also navigate her home life when politics and compromise take on new meaning with her husband and children.

Tim Daly stars as Dr. Henry McCord, Elizabeth’s husband and the Theology professor at Georgetown – he is also a former NSA SPY and Marine Corp pilot. Bebe Neiwirth stars as Nadine Tolliver, Elizabeth’s Chief of Staff. Željko Ivanek stars as Russell Jackson, White House Chief of Staff and Confidant to the President. Erich Bergen stars as Elizabeth’s personal assistant, Blake Moran.  Patina Miller stars as Daisy Grant, Elizabeth’s press coordinator. Geoffrey Arend stars as Matt Mahoney, Elizabeth’s speechwriter.

Casting Details

CBS is currently filming the second season of Madam Secretary in the NYC area. The extras casting team has released a casting call seeking extras to portray ‘Cambodian’ and ‘South Korean’ older Delegates. The team is seeking male who are older and of Asian decent or able to pass as Cambodian or South Korean.
