“Halloween” Re-Shoots Casting New Talent

Casting Directors are looking for all types of actors and models for re-shoots of scenes set to film next Monday. This is a paid opportunity to work in the reboot of the famous Halloween series, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and filming in several Southern states.

About

The original Halloween debuted in 1978 and was directed by John Carpenter.  It was about Michael Myers and his murderous rampage through a fictional Midwestern town after he escapes from Smith’s Grove Sanitarium on October 30th. It is classified as a slasher film with Myers stalking his prey and his psychiatrist trying to put an end to the madness. It was produced with a budget of $300,000 but grossed $47 million in the U.S. box office with a total of over $70 million worldwide. It is known as one of the classic Halloween slasher movies from the 70’s and 80’s.

The reboot will be co-written by well known actor, producer and writer, Danny McBride. McBride has been in the industry since 2003 when he made his film debut in All the Real Girls.  Since then, he has appeared in blockbuster films like Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express, Superbad, Hot Rod, and Alien: Covenant.  He has made a name for himself for being hilarious, but he has been involved in plenty of serious projects as a writer.  In television, McBride created, wrote, produced, and starred in the hit HBO show, Eastbound & Down which ran for four years on the premium network.
