If you were a child of the 1990’s than this might be the audition for you because the famous book series Goosebumps is being turned into a film featuring funny man Jack Black. Black is in talks to play is “a Stine-like author whose scary characters jump off the page, forcing him to hide from his own scary creations.” Goosebumps was turned into a television series that ran from ’95 to ’98. It was based from the series on novels written by R.L. Stine. Sony pictures bought the rights to the film and the casting directors are now holding auditions for actors of all ages to join Jack Black in the new film. I was recently struck with a desire to act again. I am a twenty-three year old female who grew up doing theatre from 1994 up until 2009. I am not entirely sure why I stopped, but I miss acting and would love any opportunity I am given. As for the Goosebumps books, these books were probably the first series of books that I’d ever gotten into. If I hadn’t read Goosebumps when I was so much younger, I probably never would have discovered how much I love to read and write! I’m more than willing to dress as a zombie as I allow friends to apply zombie makeup to me all the time. I specialize in dramatic and more creepy characters and an ability I have that makes me rather proud is my ability to growl or to purr(often referred to as the noise Predator makes by people I know), and I can also make the animal impression of bahhing like a goat!
To dress up as a gothic character or a zombie while on the set of a movie that’s coming to life from books that I’ve loved as a child would be absolutely FANTASTIC! I’ve always loved gothic styled things and movies and I’m proud to call myself a nerd who prepares for the zombie apocalypse or allows herself to become a zombie for her friends. I also possess a slightly gothic style of writing if I absolutely had to write in that genre (i.e. Zombies, vampires, ghouls, ghosts) and make it seem like something realistic. If I had even the smallest part on this project, I would be more than happy!

Everyone knows me as the shy quiet girl when I’m in school or at home, but when I am alone or on stage I feel different. I feel like I’m wanted. Like this is what I am meant for. Everyone has a purpose in life, and mine is acting. When I am alone, I look in the mirror and pretend my reflection is someone else. I talk to it, and I just pretend I am in one of my favorite movies, playing the lead role and just enjoying every single minute of it. I have also learned from watching some of my biggest inspirations in acting. Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Daniel Day Lewis and so much more. I may not have as much of experience in acting as most people but that doesn’t mean I’m not capable of doing so.
