AMC is developing a series based on Martin Scorsese’s classic Goodfellas, with writer Nicholas Pileggi, who adapted the screenplay from his book “Wiseguy,” on hand to co-write the TV adaptation. The mob lifestyle has always been a fascination with audiences and AMC is hoping to capitalize on it. Goodfellas was critically acclaimed and would eventually win an Academy Award for Joe Pesci. Goodfellas will join another movie that successfully made the transition from film to get a TV, the 1970 cinematic hit “M*A*S*H” spawned one of the most critically acclaimed television series in history. The casting directors are now looking for numerous roles to play in the series They are looking for well dressed males that have the “Gangster” look. This is a great opportunity for anyone that is looking to break into the industry.
The movie Goodfellas, which Pileggi co-wrote with Scorsese, stars Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci and follows the rise and fall of the Lucchese crime family associate Henry Hill (Liotta) and his friends from 1955 to 1980. It was nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture and director, and won one, for best supporting actor (Pesci). The idea was pitched to HBO, home of “The Sopranos,” years ago and the series would follow Henry Hill’s time in the witness protection program.
The casting directors at AMC are currently looking to fill numerous roles for the new series If you are interested please submit your application along with a photo and resume. I have always wanted to be an actor. I have experience, but it was when i was younger. I played Sid in “The Pajama Game”. Captain Von Trapp in “The Sound of Music”, Riff in “West Side Story”, Tommy in The Who’s Tommy & the Cowardly Lion in “The Wizard of Oz. I’ve sang with a band. Hi, I enjoy AMC’s choices. I would love to be in an AMC series. I’m a hard worker. It’s not my style to say this in any regular setting but, I can play anything. Gangster, redneck, business man, nerd, fighter, prison guy, scientist, and much more. I’m a quick studier of details, and I’m not cheesy. I can sing country style or free style rap, or Rock & roll, R&B or Alternative and look the part. The only language I speak is English but I can give you any accent you want to hear. I can sound thug, hillbilly, British, Italian, Irish, Scottish, Australian, French, Mexican, and more. I’m 6’2 about 210 pounds, athletic build. All through growing up, every job I’ve had, every friend I’ve made, and at many social gathering I’m often told I should be in movies or a singer or a comedian. I guess I have an old soul and though I know when to be serious. It’s my nature to entertain myself.

I have had minimal experience acting but it all goes back to the late 90′s when I acted in 4 musical productions while attending Sandusky High in Sandusky, Oh.
