Zack Galifianakis has been in the industry since 1996 when he made his television debut in the show Boston Common. His first mainstream performance however came in 2009 when he played the hilarious Alan Garner in The Hangover. Since then he has shifted into one of the industry’s premier comedians appearing in dozens of movies and television episodes.
Baskets is a show that features Zach Galifianakis as two major characters. He plays twins named Chip and Dale Baskets. Louie Anderson plays their mother Christine in which he won an Emmy for best supporting Actor. The show is considered a black comedy for its dark humor created by writers Louis C.K. and Zack G. Chip Baskets is a failed professional clown who dreamed of being a clown in Paris. After his failure, he instead becomes a local rodeo clown in Bakersfield, California.
