HBO hit TV series Ballers will begin filming its second season in the Miami area and extras casting directors for the show are currently seeking background actors for several upcoming shoots.
Ballers follows a former football star, Spencer Strasmore, as he tries to find the same success building a career as a financial manager for current football players in hot and sunny Miami. Strasmore tries to follow his boss Joe’s advice to “monetize his friendships,” by building a client base of young phenoms and veteran stars alike, however his role in their lives far exceeds his money management skills. Spencer tries to help his young phenoms navigate the many traps that come with life as big-time “Ballers.”
HBO Ballers stars Dwayne Johnson as Spencer Strasmore, a retired superstar NFL player turned financial manager. Rob Corddry stars Joe Krutel, Spencer’s Boss at Anderson Financial who tries hard to fit in and parties quite hard. John David Washington stars as Ricky Jerret, a highly competitive and destructive NFL superstar who tries his best to be spiritual and do the right thing. Omar Miller stars as a former football who is trying to find his next career after retirement.
The casting team with Miami Talent Casting is currently seeking extras to portray several roles in upcoming film shoots. The team is seeking male and female extras between the ages of 18 – 80. Extras would portray GENERAL BACKGROUND EXTRAS, WAIT STAFF, COCKTAIL LOUNGE PATRONS, NURSE/ORDERLY, PAINTBALL PLAYERS, DOCTORS, TOPLESS GIRLS, FOOTBALL FANS, TENNIS PLAYERS, MODELS, COUNTRY CLUB PATRONS, MALE DJ, KID FOOTBALL PLAYERS, FEMALE BABY (Twins/Triplets) and FOOTBALL PLAYERS. The team is also seeking male and female STAND-INS between the ages of 18 – 60. There is no travel compensation, all talent must be local to the Miami area and be able to self-report.
