Empire Season 2 Casting Call for Series Extras
Season two of Empire will begin filming in the Chicago area this summer and Empire’s Extras Casting Team has released a casting call for Extras. If somehow you lived under a rock earlier this year when Empire premiered on the FOX network and have no earthly idea what Empire is, let me take a moment to remind you.
Empire Debut
Empire centers around the lives of a Hip-hop family torn apart by their Music, Power, Fame and Loyalty. Lucious Lyon is a legendary Hip-hop artist who started an entertainment company called Empire, he rules his company unchallenged until a deadly medical diagnosis changes his world. Lucious is diagnosed with ALS and is given a mare three years before he is completely incapacitated, so he must decide which of his three sons will take the reins of his company he fought so hard to create.
His favorite son is his youngest, Hakeem, a very gifted and hungry musician who lacks focus and values fame over hard work. He is easily distracted by money and the women that constantly flock to him. As the youngest, Hakeem has never met his mother and harbors some very deep resentment towards her. His middle son, Jamal, is also talented but he is shy and gay—which is the most embarrassing thing to Lucious, who tries to pressure Jamal to suppress who is for a shot at gaining his love. Jamal, however, has the love of his mother who has always accepted who he is. His oldest son, Andre, seems to lack the musical talents of his younger brothers but what he lacks in musical charisma he makes up for with his business mind. Andre however has gained the mistrust of his father, his father believes he is trying hard to be someone whom he wasn’t meant to be.
But things aren’t always as simple as choosing a son as heir to a Musical Empire, to further complicate his life his long forgotten ex-wife reemerges and is ready to take ownership of her part of Empire much to his dismay. Cookie, however isn’t going anywhere and if she does she isn’t going quietly. She contends that Lucious started Empire with money from her drug business, a business for which she spent 17 years behind bars.
And so the battle begins.
Casting Details
The casting team at 4 Star Casting has released a casting call seeking series Extras to work on an upcoming episode of Empire. The team is seeking extras who can represent Upscale Club Goers between the ages of 21-35 at Club Leviticus, Lucious Lyon’s club in Empire.

ROLES: UPSCALE CLUB GOERS
RATE: $80/8
We are looking upscale club goers to be part of a core group who will work throughout the season two – Any Ethnicity, Male/Female, 21 – 35
Send an email to extras4empire@gmail.com with the following info
1) Put Upscale Club Goer in the subject line.
2) Include your name, phone number, email address, zip code, height, weight and age in the body of the email
3) Attach recent jpeg photos of yourself – it can be a candid shots – close up and full body – make sure you are against a neutral/plain wall with decent lighting wearing an upscale outfit that you would be appropriate for a club. If you are fully made up in the picture, please send us a candid photo that is more natural as well.
4) Give us a general idea of your availability from June to February.

I would love to be an extra on Empire.. I enjoy acting and comedy…. I am currently working on being a stand up comic.. This would be a great avenue to go down to achieve my goals and open new doors…. I get along well with others and I’m a hard worker…….and I know it will be great fun to work with great actors ..
I’m interested in being an extra/actor for empire. Anyone can say that they have the talent and skills, patience and ability to do what it takes to be part of such a huge industry. I can say and prove that I am an excellent candidate for Empire. I am able and willing to travel and do what it takes to become success in this business and do what I love doing. I would love to be an extra, I work in downtown Chicago which is probably where The Show will be doing a lot of their shooting. Also the location manager or someone that works for the show came by my job to take pictures to possibly shoot some scenes at my job. I’d love to be an extra or even just help out with makeup and hair!!
