Dracula Castings

Dracula has left his castle and is coming to NBC this fall. The network has announced that they will be launching their new drama series for the fall 2013 lineup. Dracula will take place in 1890s London where the vampire has assumed the identity of an American entrepreneur with aspirations of bringing modern science and technology to Victorian society. In reality, he hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier. Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rhys Meyers (“The Tudors”) will star in this provocative new drama as one of the world’s most iconic characters. The count will be airing on Fridays on NBC in the fall and the casting directors are now looking to cast several other characters and extras. This is your chance to audition for NBC so do not miss out and apply now.

It’s the late 19th century, and the famous Dracula has arrived in London, pretending to be an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He’s especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night – useful for someone who avoids the sun.But that is not the only reason for his travels: he hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going just the way the count planned… until he falls in love with a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.

Since “Dracula” was published by Bram Stoker in 1897, it has been the source for many, many, many works of vampire fiction — you might even say it is the source of all of them. The mythology of blood-sucking freaks was around before Stoker. With the success that Twilight and True Blood and other vampire stories we are sure that Dracula will follow suit.

The casting directors at NBC are now looking for actors of all ages and backgrounds for several extra and feature roles. If you are a fan of the Dracula book or just want to get on a NBC drama show than this is your chance. Applications are now being accepted and anyone that is looking to audition for Dracula is asked to submit their information along with a recent photo and contact information.   5. I have not had the chance to watch this program, however when given a task i fully commit 100 percent. I do enjoy some programs like Once Upon A Time and The Twilight series so im sure this one will be at the top of my list also. I was an A+ student in Drama and very easy to work with, a fast learner and a great people person. I also have a cooky side I dont mind being the one laughed at. Mostly I love watching all different things and so do my kids and to be able to actually be in something that matters would mean the world to my family and I. thanks
