Disney XD Series Casting Call for The Wonderful Wayneys
Disney XD is currently adding a new Live-Action comedy series to their line-up and has begun filming in Toronto, Ontario. Disney picked up the new comedy series ‘The Wonderful Wayneys’ for 26 episodes of season 1. The casting directors for the new Disney XD comedy series are holding auditions for Guest Starring, recurring roles and will also be seeking extras in the Toronto area.
Disney XD Series Details
The Wayneys are the envy of their small town as they seem to be the perfect family. Paige (Ringwald) and Wayne (Priestley) have worked hard to raise the most amazing children, each child seems to excel exceptionally academically, athletically and artistically and both parents are extremely proud. Adam, Conner, Bentley and Derek are even popular to booth. But to Paige and Wayne’s utter dismay their fifth child Emmett seems to have strayed very far from the family upbringing. He marches to the beat of his own drum and cannot keep up with his familial greatness. What he lacks academically, artistically or athletically he makes up for in relentless enthusiasm and curiosity. Emmett may find his way someday but in the meantime he is determined not to let his family’s get him down. He celebrates his c-average status in creative fashion-sometimes to the brink of destroying his family’s reputation, living space and safety.
Casting Details
The Wonderful Wayneys stars Molly Ringwald as Paige Wayney (Best known for her roles in Pretty in Pink and The Secret Life of the American Teenager) and Jason Priestley as Wayne Wayney (Best Known for his roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Haven).
