DisneyChannel2010

Disney Channel is setting up auditions for casting for multiple roles in its new pilot series “Buddyslam”. It is a comedy series which can grow into a long term project, if the pilot is successfully received by the media experts. The shooting begins from early July and it will occur at the Hollywood Center Studios in the city of Los Angeles.

Eligibility

Only those individuals that have a legal permit to work with television production companies and are registered to work in the city of Los Angeles are eligible to apply in the auditions. The primary roles are of two 12 year old teenagers as well as their grown counterparts.

There are many rules and documents that provide detailed information about adults and children, who want to work as actors. There are also guidelines for foreign talent who are looking to work as a primary actor or extra in a television production being prepared in Los Angeles and generally in the United States.

About the Producer

‘Buddyslam’ is being produced by Ron Rappaport who will be the executive producer as well as the writer of this pilot project. Greg Schaffer will head the production duties and it is produced through Laugh Productions, which has also been responsible for famous projects such as Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place. The production team is very experienced and therefore the pilot has a maximum chance of achieving success.’

About the Plot

The story of ‘Buddyslam’ focuses on a twelve year old kid named Harry Brewster who suffers from anger issues.  The young boys accidentally consumes a beverage prepared by Harry’s counselor George and they turn into fully grown adults that have muscular bodies when they get angry. They decide to attend a Slamarama wrestling event to experience a world of both adventure and ultimate danger.

How to Apply

The casting team is only receiving the information of the suitable candidates through mails. Phone calls and personal drop offs of the resumes are not being entertained at all due to the use of a proper channel set up for the casting activity.

Interested candidates can apply individually by sending their resumes and photos through the mail. The mailing details are mentioned below in complete detail.
