Seeking talent for the roles of Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Fred, Fezziwig, Tiny Tim, and Mrs.Cratchit for “A Christmas Carol”. Rehearsal begins November 11th and runs through December 22nd.
If you are at all interested in Theater acting, this is the opportunity for you to make around $400 to $500 a week, plus housing if you are from outside of the New York area.
This play is being put on by Theatreroks/USA and is expected to have a great audience turn out.
Please note that some of the roles do require singing, so a strong vocal range is a must.
Here is a few notes about some of the roles:
- We’re looking for a male between the ages of 20 to 39 to play the roll of Scrooge.
- We’re seeking a male between the ages of 20 and 39 to also play Bob Cratchit. This actor will also play an additional role as the Ghost of the Christmas from the Future.
- Fred will be played by a male between the ages of 20 and 39, and will also play Scrooge as a Teenager.
- Fezziwig will be played by a male between 20 and 29. This actor will also play two ghosts roles. 1 ghost role as ghost of Christmas time present, and another ghost role as Marley’s Ghost.
- For the female actresses out there we are seeking a female between the ages of 20 and 39 to play Mrs.Cratchit and other roles such as Scrogges cleaning lady, a ghost, and also a young boy in this theater production.
- Tiny Tim needs to be played by a short female ideally under 5 foot 5 and shorter between the ages of 20 to 29 max and be passable for a small male’s build. This actress will also act as the sister of Scrooge in several scenes.

Hi my name is Callea , I am 20 years old and I’ve always had an heart for acting. Every since I was in elementary school I’ve done theater, I cant even count on one hand how many theater plays I’ve been in. As I got older theater was taking out of a lot of schools so I wasn’t able to do theater after 6th-7th grade but my heart have always been with acting. Hello, my name is Carole Malcolm, but I go by Cammei. I am currently a Junior in High School, except I’m homeschooled. I’ve majored in theatre at my old highschool, and I have been in plays such as:Once Upon A Mattress, Macbeth, A Year With Frog and Toad, and Disney’s Junior Beauty and the Beast. I also did a show at my highschool that us students wrote ourselves.
