A company by the name of Taste Wine Co. is has recently announced casting call for a new series titled ‘Taste Test.’

About the company

This casting is for a new reality TV show/documentary. The show will revolve around interviewing people; famous personalities/celebrities about their taste, as the name of the show suggests. The show is a startup and is aimed as a web series. However, the twist of the show is that it does not focus only on the taste of food and drinks. Taste, in the show can be taken in any context. One day it can be about wine testing, and other could be an interview of a fashion blogger talking about taste in colors, designs, etc.

Audition details:

The casting department at Taste Wine Co. is looking for the following specific roles for the show.

  1. Lead Host—Male

All men aged between 21 to 50 years are eligible to audition. To apply for this role, you need to have a charismatic personality. The company is looking for someone who is a deep listener, inquisitive, able to make people feel comfortable and safe when he is around. You should look relaxed, fun, yet professional and serious in your work. You should also be able to engage people while hosting the show.

So, if you think you have got the right skills and talents the casting departments is looking for then hurry and apply before you miss the deadline! All ethnicities are welcomed. All you need to do is submit headshot and photos (current).

  1. Lead Host – Female

All females from any nationality, aged between 21 to 40 years are welcomed to audition for this role. To apply, you need to have a charming personality. You should be a professional and know when to give and receive attention from the audience and camera. It should come in naturally. The casting department is looking for someone who can naturally and sophisticatedly laugh and engage with the audience. You should also be able to handle controversies smartly.

If you have what it takes to be a lead host at a reality based show, then apply with your headshot/photos along with a video-taped reel.

  1. Extras/Background: Tasters

If you are a transgender, you can apply for this role. The casting department is specifically looking for transgender aged from 21 to 50 years of age. You should have a highly expressive face with interesting way of talking, laughing, and being excited. You will be seen shipping wine in the show. The shoot for this role will be for five minutes only, and as an added advantage you may be eligible to receive freebies, such as wine bottles from the company (if you promote the show on social media!)

All ethnicities are eligible to apply for this role. All you need to do is send in headshot/photos and wait for a call.

Other details

  • The shooting/rehearsals will take place in NY.
  • Hosts will receive a pay of $50 for a two hour running each week. If the show receives 10,000 plus views then you will be eligible for bonuses. Please note, there is no payment for title sequences.
  • The crew that you will be working with also shoots for Forbes.
