About the Show
Alexandra Cunningham and Kem Nunn created this American TV series starring High Laurie. This TV series is based on a book. It will be releasing on Hulu network on 19th October 2016. Laurie, who is a forensic neuropsychiatrist, plays the main role in this series. Other casts are Lisa Gay Hamilton, Greta Lee, Hugh Laurie, Stefania LaVie Owen, Diane Farr, Ethan Suplee, Gretchen Mol, Clarke Peters, and Paul Adelstein. Both the seasons will be of 20 episodes, and will be based on the themes of police corruption, false identity, and mental illnesses.
Casting Call Details
The casting directors of ‘Chance’ are looking for Bay area locals who are 18 or above for paid extra work. The shooting of the show will take place in the month of August from Monday to Friday. These background roles are of people with basic and high-end cars; however, the car should not be white or red. Other roles include pedestrians, hospital staff, business types, café and bar patrons, hipsters, police and detectives, servers, hospital staff, and baristas. These individual will be needed for the entire month of September.
The casting directors are looking for Furniture delivery type men, Tenderloin Pedestrian, which is the fusion of Blue Collar Casual and Hipster, Upscale Shoppers, people with cars (no red/white). The shooting will take place on regular timings. Therefore, the individual should be available after 6AM or later morning to dusk.

For the shoot at San Mateo, you need to be there from 5pm to 5am. The roles for that day are of addict and homeless individuals, to portray a homeless camp in Oakland. If you are a man or woman above the age of 21, and can smoke herbal cigarettes for the shoot, apply away for the role. You need to have a thin figure, unique and fascinating face, and your own personal transportation. The last day of shoot will be in San Francisco. Young adult falling in the age bracket of 18 to 21 are needed for the role. The role is of high school students, so you need to have a young looking face. Another role is of fashionable parent, who is in their mid 30’s to 50’s, and owns high-ended cars. The car will be used for picking and dropping off the teens at school. The shooting of this role will be in the daytime.

Free meals are also given after 6 or 7 hours with drinks and snacks when not on the set. The minimum pay for working 8 hours or less for nonunion extras in San Francisco and San Mateo is $104 with overtime. Additionally, in San Francisco, it is ½ based on minimum wage of $13 per hour. For Non Union Extras in Oakland, the minimum payment for 8 hours or less with overtime is $100.40 and one half is on the Oakland minimum wage $12.55 per hour.
