Imagine the apocalypse, but weirder, and with celebrities! Yes! The film of next Summer is just like that. You read right! James Franco, Jonah Hill, Emma Watson, and Jason Segel are starring in this action comedy called “The End of the World”! Casting directors will be holding casting calls for stand in roles, photo doubles, featured extras, and extras for the film. Directors Evan Goldberg (responsible for the film “The Green Hornet”, “Pineapple Express”, and “Superbad) and Seth Rogan, who was an actor in half of those films, are the guys headlining the way for this major motion picture comedy. While Seth Rogan and Jay Baruchel party with other well known celebrities at James Franco’s house they are thrown into the apocalyptic events as the end of the world begins. Actors such as Jonah Hill, Emma Watson, James Franco, Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogan, Michael Cera, Jay Baruchel, Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari to name the few aside from singer songwriter Rihanna will all be starring in this major which is expected to be the comedy of the year. Mandate Pictures and Point Grey Pictures along with Sony Pictured Entertainment is responsible for the production of “The End of the World” feature film project. Rumor is that Emma Watson was cast last minute for the team.
Would you like to rub elbows with some of Hollywood’s most hilarious comedy actors? What about Rihanna? Then this may just be your chance. Casting directors are still booking extras, featured extras, stand ins, and photo doubles for all of the booked actors. They will be filtering through submissions this week and are in need of talent ages 18-25 years old and actors 40-70 years old. Also in need of child talent ages 4-13 years old for a few of the fill in scenes as extras. Some talent will have the opportunity to be featured on camera depending on the scene they are asked to be a part of. If you are interested in something like this you do have to send in all of your contact information and acting experience info to the casting department. Do not forget to provide a photo with your submission as well. All talent will not be called for auditions. Some will depending on their look and what the director is going for.
