“District 9” film director Neill Blomkamp is back to make another hit called “Elysium”. Casting calls are underway nationwide. Taking place in the year 2159, at a time when very wealthy lives on a mad made space station are living after the earth is destroyed. The journey of one man trying to bring justice and equality in the world while battling his own demons. “Elysium” stars actor Matt Damon, and actress Jodie Foster, and Sharlto Copley. Matt Damon plays Max, while Jodie Foster plays Secretary Rhodes. Jodie Foster’s character is a government official who will stop at nothing to enforce this anti-immigration law and save the lives of the luxurious people of Elysium. Max, a soldier, goes on a top mission to not only save his life but bring equality into Elysium.
Media Rights Capital and Sony Pictures Entertainment will bring this brand new motion picture work into theaters by sometime next year. The film is rumored to be related to the 2009 feature “District 9”. Josie Foster has not been in a box office hit since “The Brave One” back in 2007, besides her work as Maggie Simpson on The Simpson Television series. While Matt Damon on the other hand, is working on a few other feature films set to hit theaters next year, along with his 2011 box office childen hit “We Bought a Zoo” geared totally towards comedy. Elysium has began production and is booking talent now.
Looking for talented actors and actresses to fill roles as featured extras, extras, stand-ins, and a few of the lead roles made available to reoccur in the film.
