Ride Along 2 Casting Call
Ride along 2 is the sequel to the very successful movie starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. Ride Along 2 is set for production in July and the casting director is hosting an open casting call in search of beach volleyball players for film. Since this is a Kevin Hart movie, it is expected to do very well. That being said, this could be a great opportunity for anyone looking for some screen time in a movie that will definitely be somewhere at the top of the box office charts. Kevin Hart is becoming a big star, and anything he is involved in usually does really well.

This movie will be a continuation of “Ride Along”, which is a movie about a childish security guard who is dating the sister of a cop. The cop, James Payton (Ice Cube), is not particularly fond for Ben Barber (Kevin Hart). They actually do not get along at all. To prove that Ben is capable of taking care of James Payton’s sister, Ben goes on a “ride along” with James Payton. Kevin Hart (Scary Movie, Soul Plane, Think Like a Man, Think Like a Man Too, and This is the End), who is a critically acclaimed actor, makes hits of mostly all of the movies he’s in. With big stars like Ice Cube and Tika Sumpter, this sequel is sure to be another hit. The film is directed by Tim Story who also directed big movies like Think Like a Man, Think Like a Man Too, Fantastic Four, and Barbershop.

The casting director for this film is looking for fit and attractive males who have played beach volley ball and have some experience in the sport. Although it is not a stand-in role, realize that many big actors have started had to audition for movies and started their careers as extras in films. for example, Brad Pitt started as an extra in the movie “Partygoer” ,and look where he is now. So never be afraid to start at the bottom, because you never know where you could end up later on.

**UPDATE September 1, 2014**

There will be another casting call held for ‘Ride Along 2’ as the casting directors are looking for men between the ages of 25 and 55 to play the roles of security guards. The producers would also like those who audition to have a waist that ranges from 34″ to 38″ and at least wears a medium to XL polo shirt. All those who are interested should sign up today and be will continue to offer you additional information on the casting call.

    I went to be a back ground filler w/hope of more later .when I explained what I went thru getting to site “THEY”asked me to audition for a part.{BAMB} three producers wanted me . I was given two featured extra roles. 1. a steel mill worker 2. a Pinkerton guard.{shooting striking steel mill workers & handing out rifles in “BLOODY BATTLE scene}.
