You will be pleased to know that the Central Casting Louisiana is currently accepting casting submissions for their upcoming movie by Universal Pictures, Girl Trip.
The story is about a simple road trip that turns into a crazy adventure. Along the way, the group stops at shady places and experiences things that test all aspects of their friendship.
The feature film is being directed by Malcolm Lee who has made movies like. Best Man Holiday and Barbershop. The executive producer of the movie is Will Packer who has previously produced movies like Ride Along, Straight Outta Compton, and Think Like A Man.
The filming of the movie will take place in New Orleans, Lousiana from the first July till mid August this year. It is said that Universal Studios has set a release date for the movie for July 21, 2018.
The casting director is currently calling out people for the following roles:
- A Limo Driver- The limo driver should be in his forties or fifties and should be an African American who has experience in driving limos. It is important that they have a valid Commercial or Chauffeurs license. The filming for the role will take place in New Orleans in July. It is important that email’s subject line includes ‘Limo Driver’.
- Essence Fans- The casting team is looking for actors that look like they are either in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, or sixties and are from an African American heritage. It is important that these people are looking forward to working as Essence Fans at the Superdome in a number of different locations including the VIP areas. These members won’t have to work on all the listed days.
- Employee- The casting team is looking for an East Indian male in hi thirties or forties to play the role of an office worker.
